It is one of the advantages of living in Italy, I guess. A friend sent a WhatsApp message and suggested we meet for lunch at the weekend. So, a quick chat with the other half and we replied, saying that it sounded like a great idea and we would meet them there. Saturday arrived and we set off, fashionably late and headed 40 minutes up the road to the amazing city of Orvieto in Umbria to join the tourists, day-trippers and locals enjoying the end of the Italian summer.

After nearly 6 months of not being able to carry a camera properly after surgery, it was a delight and a relief to have my first project of 2019. Once again, I was able to work with Furiosi Affetti, at a concert they were performing in Bologna. As always, I attended both the rehearsal and the concert itself for the shoot, which as it turned out, was a very good thing!

I recently had the opportunity to combine my two biggest passions; Baroque music and photography. A Rome-based baroque orchestra, Furiosi Affetti were performing the opera buffa, La Serva Padrona at the wonderful Teatro Rivellino in Tuscania, near Viterbo.
